For many of our patients at Pure Aesthetics, the abdominal region is a common area of concern – even for those who maintain a healthy diet and exercise regularly. Isolated pockets of fat are often resistant to these traditional forms of weight loss. To achieve a more sculpted figure, a tummy tuck and a mini tummy tuck are two of our most popular solutions.

A traditional tummy tuck (known as a full abdominoplasty) is designed to tighten the abdomen from the pubic bone to the beast bone. For patients with a larger amount of excess skin and fat, who have undergone one or more pregnancies, or who have experienced dramatic weight loss, this procedure typically yields the best results.

A mini tummy tuck, on the other hand, focuses primarily on the lower abdomen below the navel with little work being done above this area. For patients who do not need major abdominal muscle tightening, this procedure can achieve beautiful results with a smaller incision and a shorter recovery time.
